Wie man sieht hast Du eine /dev/sda1 die genügend gross ist. Aber der Partitionstyp ist vfat - der von / ist ext4. Das passt nicht.
Du musst /dev/sda1 mit ext4 neu formatieren. Dann wird es funktionieren.
Ich nehme Deinen Beitrag zum Anlass und werde die Fehlermeldung aussagekräftiger gestalten.
