ich verzweifle seit einiger Zeit an der Displayansteuerung dieses 20x4-LCD-Displays:

Der Raspy ist über einen 3.3V-/5V-Pegelwandler mit dem Display verbunden (3.3V GPIOs vom RPi gehen auf den Pegelwandler, 5V geht aufs Display), da es sich um ein größeres Messystem handelt mit dem ich arbeite und eine Platine zwischen RPi und Display ist, worauf der Pegelwandler implementiert ist. Dies wird später noch um einen Inkrementalgeber erweitert, aber im Moment bin ich schon froh, wenn das Display funktioniert.

Die Verdrahtung wurde mehrfach von mehreren Leuten gecheckt und sollte stimmen.
Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass es sich um 4 Bit handelt ohne I2C.
Wenn ich nun über den RPi Python Scripte laufen lasse, passiert nichts!
Lediglich der Backlight LED leuchtet, aber auf dem Display ist nichts zu sehen außer der blaue Hintergrund.
Bin auch schon mit dem Multimeter an die Pins und habe ein Script laufen lassen, das mir unterschiedliche Pins auf HIGH/LOW gesetzt hat, das hat funktioniert, es wird nur eben nichts angezeigt.
Display wurde auch schon 2 mal ausgetauscht, also ein kaputtes Display schließe ich mal aus.
