    [al=Tips]Allgemeine Tips für alle Images[/al]

    Features include:

    • Works with Raspberry Pi model B+
    • A minimal Raspbian Wheezy installation (similar to a netinstall)
    • Hard Float binaries: floating point operations are done in hardware instead of software emulation, that means higher performances
    • Disabled incremental updates, means apt-get update is much faster
    • Workaround for a kernel bug which hangs the Raspberry Pi under heavy network/disk loads
    • 3.6.11+ hardfp kernel with latest raspberry pi patches
    • Latest version of the firmwares
    • Fits 1GB SD cards
    • A very tiny 118MB image: even with a 2GB SD there is a lot of free space
    • ssh starts by default
    • The clock is automatically updated using ntp
    • IPv6 support
    • Just 14MB of ram usage after the boot

    Zitat

The main focus is to have a small, updated and stable distribution that is fully compatible with official Raspbian “wheezy” image, without GUI and unneeded tools.
So this image is perfect for embedded projects, or wherever you need to use all RPi resources for your specific tasks.
The main advantage is that MINIBIAN has a very small footprint, boots in some seconds and uses just few of precious RPi RAM.
Unlike other similar projects, MINIBIAN has not been obtained purging unneeded packages from original image, neither recompiling the source code: it’s just a customized Raspbian installation obtained from the same repository used for official RPi wheezy image.
So kernel and binary files are exactely the same you will find on standard image, with the difference that MINIBIAN fit on 1Gb SD Card, is fastest, and updated more often.

The main features of last version (2014-11-24) included in MINIBIAN image are:

    • Kernel 3.12.28+ #709 ARM HF (Hard Float)
    • 21 secs boot
    • 16 MB RAM used after boot
    • 314 MB disk space used
    • Fit on 512MB SD Card
    • Optimized ext4 file system with swap disabled
    • Support for both B and B+ version
    • Support for both 256Mb and 512Mb Raspberry B version
    • Targeted for embedded or server applications (NAS, Web server, electronic applications)
    • 100% full compatbile with officiale release
    • DHCP client enabled
    • SSHD enabled
    • root user enabled (default password: raspberry – please change it a.s.a.p.)

    Features:

    • Language: English
    • Country: United Kingdom
    • Keyboard Layout: British English
    • Mirror archive: mirrordirector.raspbian.org
    • Directory: /raspbian/
    • Partiton: removed swap partition and created new ext4 partition (850Mb size)
    • Software to install: Standard system utilities and SSH Server
    • Added gpu_mem=16 options in /boot/config.txt for setting GPU memory size
    • Added elevator=deadline option in /boot/cmdline.txt for setting right disk scheduler
    • Corrected mount point in /boot/cmdline.txt (after swap partition removing the kernel couldn’t find mount point)
    • Added noatime,nodiratime,commit=120 options in /etc/fstab for better SD Card performance and reliability
    • Added –noclear option in /etc/inittab in order to avoid screen clean at boot
    • Added ip address showing script in /etc/rc.local
    • Removed MAC address in udev rules in order to work with different RPI hardware
    • Added daily scheduled fstrim command for /
    • Zeroed free space in /boot and in / for better image compressing
    • Created and compressed image

    [an=pipaOS][/an]

    • next release: Boottup splash screen with load progress *

    latest version 2.5:

    [an=netinstall][/an]

    Code
    # 512MB grosse Datei erzeugen
    dd if=/dev/zero of=/var/swapfile bs=1024 count=524288
    # SWAP Dateisystem erzeugen
    mkswap /var/swapfile
    # Rechte setzen
    chmod 0600 /var/swapfile
    # SWAP aktivieren
    swapon /var/swapfile
    # SWAP für nächste Systemstarts automatisch einhängen
    echo "/var/swapfile swap swap defaults 0 0" >> /etc/fstab

ich hab sogar noch was vergessen :)

  • Interessant ist für mich vor allem der
"Workaround for a kernel bug which hangs the Raspberry Pi under heavy network/disk loads"

    Code
    #Install raspi-config
    apt-get -y install lua5.1 triggerhappy dmsetup libdevmapper1.02.1 libparted0debian1 parted
    wget http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/pool/main/r/raspi-config/raspi-config_20130925-1_all.deb -O raspi-config.deb
    dpkg -i raspi-config.deb && rm raspi-config.deb
    raspi-config

Google "Linux Benutzer anlegen"

    Code
    echo ",+," | sudo sfdisk --force -N2 --no-reread /dev/mmcblk0

Anschließend rebooten und dann noch folgenden Befehl:

    Code
    sudo resize2fs /dev/mmcblk0p2
