Hallo, ich habe gestern ein Update durchgeführt. Es waren unter anderem auch ein atheros-firmware mit aufgeführt. Nun werden mir keine ac Netzwerke mehr angezeigt. Weiß jemand wo man die alten Treiber wieder herbekommt.

iw phy phy0 channels
bringt folgendes Ergebniss, sieht so aus als ob irgendwie das 5 GHz Band deaktiviert wurde, außer Kanal 149. Wüsste aber nicht wo man das deaktivieren/aktivieren kann.

würde mich mal interessieren auf welchem Kanal ihr euer AC Netzwerk eingestellt habt um euch mit dem Raspberry darauf zu verbinden?

Die im 5 GHz Bereich erlaubten Kanäle sind länderspezifisch. Wenn Dich es interessiert suche nach "regulatory domain"
Mitsudo iw reg get siehst Du die konfigurierte.

ja das ist schon klar, das die Länder unterschiedliche Bestimmungen haben, manche verzichten sogar auf DFS. Habe es auch mal auf DE umgestellt aber hier sind auch alle Kanäle außer 36, 40, 44 und 48 disable und das ist seit dem letzen Update so.
Deswegen würde es mich interessieren ob andere dieses Problem nicht haben? Sehr ihr euer AC Netzwerk noch und ist es im unteren Bereich angeziedelt oder erst ab Kanal 100?

Darf man fragen welchen WLAN Kanal und Bandbreite (20/40/80/160 MHz) ihr benutzt mein Rpi scheint sehr wählerisch zu sein.

ich sehe keinen Unterschied zu vorher. mit dem RPi 4B habe ich die Updates gemacht, jetzt läufts wieder, oder auf was spielst du an mit deinem wolkigen "wählerisch"-Hinweis.

ich sehe keinen Unterschied zu vorher. mit dem RPi 4B habe ich die Updates gemacht, jetzt läufts wieder, oder auf was spielst du an mit deinem wolkigen "wählerisch"-Hinweis.
Hattest du am/nach dem Sonnabend schon einmal ein Update gemacht?
Es klingt in der obigen Beschreibung so, als wenn beim letzten Update eine "Fehler" des vorherigen Updates bei der atheros-FW ausgebügelt worden ist

Rasp-Berlin vor meinem 1. Update am Sonntag den 3.10. ging das 5GHz-Wlan problemlos. Danach waren Kanal 52 - 144 disabled. Nach meinem Update heute am 6.10. sind die Kanäle 52 - 140 wieder "sichtbar" wie Thomas18TE in Beitrag #11 beschrieb.
